Un 31 de mayo 1918 la comisaria Las Peñas se convierte en municipio tras el Decreto 1889 del Congreso.
Puerto Vallarta celebra su aniversario 101 como municipio y 51 de ciudad.

On May the 31st 1918, Las Peñas port was converted in town with the 1889 Congress Act.
Puerto Vallarta celebrates its anniversary 101 as town and 51 as city.
